UConn was a -265 favorite to win the title going into the 2026 NCAA women's basketball tournament. With the Huskies' elimination by South Carolina on Friday night, four of the last five odds-on favorites coming into the tournament have now failed to win it all. The only one to win the national championship over that period was South Carolina in 2024 (-140).
